Grass Beauty in late October: While trout fishing with a spoon I didn’t get any reaction anymore the day before I caught 20 trout on the spoon but today it was different i saw a group of carp on the surface feeding of falling leaves so I took a hook I randomly found (trout hook size 8 20/100) And started fishing with old bread suddenly I saw a lot of grass carp and even a couple big ones they were very careful because of the cold months I caught my first October grass carp then i hooked the largest fish of the pond (10kg grass carp) he was running towards the bank so I knew I had to stop it I tightened the drag but the carp broke off I was pissed on my faith in such a old line but never the less had a nice day with grass carp runs on a spinning rod what a day!!
