🎣 RecFishing.eu is coming very soon
Born from an EU project to support Member States in harmonising the management of recreational fishing in Europe, the pilot portal RecFishing, developed by our company Halieuticom, is now complete, while we await the launch of the official platform in early 2026.
For the first time, Member States and other stakeholders in the sector will have access to an integrated system enabling the free registration of marine recreational fishers, as well as reporting catches. A valuable opportunity for all actors to improve resource management and build the future of fishing in Europe.
Thank you to everyone who took part in the pilot phase. All that’s left now is to wait for the launch of the new system to officially register again.
⚙️ A successful pilot phase with the FishFriender app
Thanks to the FishFriender mobile app integrated into the pilot programme, fishers from each country were able to easily declare their catches and get familiar with the upcoming process. This phase also made it possible to collect user feedback to better design the tool of tomorrow.
