Une carte de pêche des Hautes-Alpes est obligatoire pour pratiquer dans les plans d'eau du département. La pratique de la pêche en bateau est autorisée sur la retenue du Riou. Elle pourra se pratiquer, avec des embarcations à propulsion électrique en dehors des mois de juillet et août de chaque année. L'utilisation d'engins à moteur thermique est proscrite.
